My Favorite Nude Nail Polish Colors

My favorite naked colored nail polishes
When I cannot decide on which color to use for my nails, I always seem to go back to these two nude color polishes. I love the look of these nude nail polishes with my skin tone :)

REVLON Colorstay in Pale Cashmere
I bought this color because it was on clearance and I believe I also used a coupon as well. This color is not opaque at all. But after two or three coats the end results is a very beautiful pale light pink color. The top two nails have only one coat. The bottom two nails have two coats.

NYC In a New York Color Minute in Mulberry Street
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. It has to be one of my all time favorites! And for only about $1.50, I think it's a great steal. I have to describe the finish as a sheen, almost pearly vanalla like color. This nail polish also appears to have nano glitter lol.  I just love this color to pieces. You do need to add two or even three coats to get a great color payoff, but it's so worth it lol. The top two nails show one coat while the bottom two nails show two coats.

Thanks for visiting >_<

Sally Hansen Nail Polish Haul

Sally Hansen Nail Polish HAUL

There was a great deal on Sally Hansen Nail Polishes this past week at my local HEB grocery store. I just had to take advantage. Because I don't have enough nail polishes already right :P

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Wet Cement
For some reason I was so excited to get this color. I think it's a very unique grey colored nail polish. No real hint of blue like other grey nail polishes I have. It also is a very matte color.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Mint Sorbet
This was definitely a color I needed in my collection. Mint is a very trendy color right now and I love how opaque this color is. It's a great mint color nail polish for less than $3.00.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Mellow Yellow
I have been looking for a pastel yellow nail polish color....and the search continues. :(
The color looked perfect in the bottle. But on the nails it was a bit too much on the neon yellow side.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Hot Magenta
I really like this color. I'm not a huge fan of red nail polishes. This is about as red as I will go. Lol

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Coral Reef
This color is so beautiful. It looks like a very soft pink color in the pictures, but in person the color is more of a brighter pink.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Blue Me Away
This color doesn't really go on too evenly. But the color is still very bright.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Golden-I
I expected this color to be like a golden glitter nail polish. This color turned out to be very opaque. All you need is 2 coats to get a great golden glitter color on your nails. The top 2 nails have 1 coat of Golden-I. The bottom 2 nails have 2 coats on Golden-I. ***Also on a side not, this nail polish does a great job at not chipping.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Disco Ball
I bought this color because I wanted to collect all the glitter colors in the Hard as Nails line. This glitter has rainbow light reflecting micro glitter. It looks best on top of a dark nail polish color. And if you apply more than 1 coat on top of any nail polish color, you start to see more of the rainbow glitter than anything else. 1 coat really adds a pretty touch of glitter to any color.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in In the Spotlight
This is one of my favorite nail polishes. The way this color catches the light is very unique. This is a clear nail polish with confetti-like glitters. It's a bit tricky to get a nice even coat of glitters on the nail, it looks so beautiful on top of any color. If you add too many coats, it begins to get chunky and ends of some of the glitters will start to peak through any top coat. For me, I just have to have perfectly smooth nails lol.

Thanks for visiting :]  Happy Hauling

BCBGMAXAZRIA Mini-Haul

BCBGMAXAZRIA Mini-Haul

So this past Wednesday, the 18th, my boyfriend had his physical and testing for the Austin, Tx Police Department. (He did awesome! :)

He forgot a piece of his background info and wasn't allowed to leave the testing area. So I had to pick up the information and drive into McAllen at 10am. Obviously I had to schedule in a window shopping mall trip, otherwise the trip to McAllen would have been a total waste of gas ;)

I only planned to look around. But I realize I have a weakness for name-brand clearance sales.

The first store I went into was BCBGMaxAZria. A lot of their clothing was 40-60% off with some having an additional 20%. But of course I wasn't looking to buy anything pricey. I did take a look at the accessories that were on sale and I saw this gorgeous rose gold statement ring.

BCBG MAXAZRIA Rose Gold Statement Ring $8
When the sales associate said "This one is a must, it's $8", I had to take it! If I can't have the watch, I'll settle for the ring :D
I know it looks gold but here are some more pictures that hopefully show how rosy it is.

The front is concave in the middle.
You can really see the rose gold-ness in this one
And here is how the ring looks in action :)

The next two items are headbands. Each of them was around $5.
The first is a metallic simple headband. The color is like a faint gold color.

Up close and personal on the color.

And here is the headband in action :D

And the last headband was also around $5. This one is like an antiqued gold chain headband.

Chain headband on.

In the end I got away with all 3 pieces for less than $25.00
Love Them ALL!

Thanks for visiting! HAPPY HAULING!

Marlene's Estee Lauder Foundation Review

Foundation

If you have oily and uneven skin tones, one of the best foundations I have found that works is Estee Lauder's Double Matte Oil-Control Foundation with SPF 15.

Estee Lauder Double Matte
Oil-Control Makeup
SPF 15

Double Matte Oil-Control Foundation ($24 - $37) is easy to put on and last all day.

One bottle, used daily, usually last about 6 months.

sample of Estee Lauder Gift Set (purchase required)

When I buy a new foundation, Estee Lauder usually

has  a  free gift set promotion (purchase required) at

either Macy's, Dillard's or Bealls.  Some of their

gifts are not so great or not my color and I usually

give them to family or friends or I make them

into door or "bingo" prize gifts.   (My current bingo

winnings bag is from Estee Lauder!)

That's a great little free gift for something I was going to purchase anyway.
